Ben Stack is amongst the most energetic abstract painters in Australia. Producing large scale Contemporary Abstract Art, his vivid work has a huge presence in both Corporate and Private Residences worldwide. Classically trained in Dublin Ireland, the Kunstacademie Maastricht Holland and the University of California at Irvine. Having worked with various media throughout his career, his current works consist of painting, mostly oil, acrylic and mixed media on canvas. With an inventive relish for the effects of paint he has managed to combine a distinctive and recognisable style through his 'signature' brush strokes and vivid colour. A whole new depth of field is gained by casting shadows behind the colour with use of an air brush. The paint becomes an ‘object’ suspended in space. Using this technique thus creating an illuminating 3 Dimensional effect. He has had many solo exhibitions across Australia, Europe, the USA and Africa.
His work is held in corporate, private and public collections in both hemispheres, and is reputed as 'one of Australia’s most collectable Artists'.
